Outriders for Mac starts very cheerfully. Beautiful views of the planet, excellent graphics far from top-end hardware, and a dynamic ride of the protagonist after waking up. The gameplay not only does not correspond to the scenario – sometimes they openly conflict. The most egregious example is a particularly strong villain album named Moloch, who is very competently introduced to us in the first third of the game. You are directly imbued with the feeling that the fight with him will become special – perhaps this will be the final battle, and it will take a long time to prepare for it.

Then we are suddenly thrown into a fight with him, and it turns out this is an ordinary boss, weak and boring. We hang him, but in the cut scene, he knocks out the main character and escapes, and the main plot no longer shines. What was that anyway Outriders’ loot-and-role system? Not outstanding, but quite solid and working.

The character gains experience and increases the level, which allows you to discover new abilities and advance along the tree with passive skills. The best quality part of Outriders Mac is the item improvement system. You can change the type of cannons within the same class – for example, convert a light machine gun into a heavy one.
